Information from the Town of Okotoks
Teaching little ones who are fascinated with big trucks and equipment? Take the classroom outdoors and join the Town of Okotoks for our 3nd Annual Equipment Showcase in celebration of National Public Works Week (May 19-25) on Thursday, May 23 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Operations Centre Parking Lot, Okotoks.
Equipment on display is likely to include a Mini Loader, Mini Excavator, Hook Lift Truck, Bobcat, Loader and Grader. Attendees can also expect a drive by from the street sweepers!
Pre-packaged treats, juice boxes and colouring activities will be provided.
Last year, more than 200 youth attended!
We are also looking for your classrooms help coming up with a creative name for a snowplow!
