642-902 ROUTE Implementing Cisco IP Routing

The Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE 642-902) is a qualifying exam for the Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP, Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional CCIP, and Cisco Certified Design Professional CCDP certifications. The exam will certify that the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills necessary to use advanced IP addressing and routing in implementing scalable and secure Cisco ISR routers connected to LANs and WANs.

Implementing Cisco IP Routing is the full name of 642-902 ROUTE. The Associated Certifications are CCDP and CCNP Routing and Switching. There are 45-55 questions in real 642-902 ROUTE exam, which will take the candidates 120 minutes to complete the test. The available languages are English and japanese. Candidates can register 642-902 ROUTE exam at Pearson VUE testing center.

It is also important for the candidates to know 642-902 ROUTE exam topics before taking the test.

15% 5.0 Implement an IPv4 or IPv6 Based Redistribution Solution, given a Network Design and a set of Requirements

5.1 Create a redistribution implementation plan based upon the results from a redistribution analysis
5.2 Create a redistribution verification plan
5.3 Configure a redistribution solution
5.4 Verify that a redistribution was implemented
5.5 Document results of a redistribution implementation and verification plan
5.6 Identify the differences between implementing an IPv4 and IPv6 redistribution solution

10% 6.0 Implement Layer 3 Path Control Solution

6.1 Create a Layer 3 path control implementation plan based upon the results of the redistribution analysis
6.2 Create a Layer 3 path control verification pla

6.4 Verify that a Layer 3 path control was implemented

Exam Note: The latest day of 642-902 ROUTE to test is January 29, 2015. The new exam is 300-101 ROUTE, which begins January 30, 2015.
